My name is Elena Higgins and as you might guess by the name, I am not originally from "these parts". I was born and raised in Russia and attended Moscow State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree. I was a practicing attorney in the city of Ekaterinburg where the majority of my work was in real estate cases. I have been working in real estate and helping people my entire professional career. I immigrated to the United States in 2002 and currently reside in Covington, Georgia where my husband operates his own business and my son attends middle school.
I am proud to be an American now and being an immigrant to this wonderful country also gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to my career as a licensed real estate professional. After all, when it comes to relocating, moving from one side of the globe to another is a fairly significant move. Finding a new home, neighborhood or community naturally generates anxieties and concerns for anyone. Having experienced this personally, I feel it is an important part of my job to help my clients feel confident that together, we have found the new home and community that fits their life. All of my experiences in life both here and as an attorney in Russia uniquely come together to make me a strong advocate for my clients and appreciate the importance of finding them the right place to call home.
